 The biggest increase was in container handling. During the reporting period, 7253 units of containers were loaded and unloaded, a year-on-year increase of 55.2%. In the first quarter of 2018, it was 4,673 units.

There were 13,788 units of loading and unloading wagons at the Ariat Wharf, a year-on-year increase of 12.6%. Among them, 6,446 wagons were transported along the Baku-Couric-Baku route, accounting for 46.8% of the total. A total of 7342 wagons were transported along the Baku-Turkmenistan Bash-Baku route, accounting for 53.2% of the total.

The number of large vehicles (TIR) transported reached 6,543, an increase of 43.5% year-on-year. Among them, 5,180 vehicles were transported along the Baku-Turkmenistan Bash-Baku route, accounting for 79.2%. 1,263 vehicles were transported along the Baku-Couric-Baku route, accounting for 20.8%.

The two-way passenger traffic increased by 17.5% to 8,813 passengers.
