Haiphong Xingang International Container Port provides direct service from northern Vietnam to the west coast of the United States in accordance with the port of Haiphong Newport International Container Port - Nansha - Hong Kong - Yantian - Long Beach - Auckland - Yantian, reducing the transit time from 25 days to 19 days. .

The construction of Haiphong Xingang International Container Port has become an important milestone in the development of the deep-water port system in Haiphong City and even in northern Vietnam. The berthing of “Wanhai 805” marks that the port has become one of the top 20 international ports.

        Haiphong is an important window for the northern provinces of Vietnam to the sea, and the province has great potential for developing marine economy. Haiphong is also the growth pole of the key economic zone in northern Vietnam and has a strategic position in the integration of regional and international processes.

Previously, on April 11, Haiphong Xingang International Container Port welcomed the “Northern Jaguar” 8814 TEU container ship. The captain is 334 meters long and operates on the PN2 route of the three companies of Hapag Lloyd, Ocean Network Express (ONE) and Yangming Shipping, directly connecting Vietnam with Tacoma and Vancouver, Canada. The route will reduce the transit time of Haiphong to the US West Coast and Canada from 25 days to 17 days.
